Appendix A — Colab Notebooks
Every chapter has a companion Python notebook. The notebooks run in Google Colab, a free service that runs Python in your web browser, so you don’t need to install anything.
A.1 Getting started with Colab
- Click an Open in Colab badge below and sign in with a Google account.
- Choose File → Save a copy in Drive so your changes are saved to your own copy.
- Run a cell with Shift + Enter. Run cells top to bottom the first time.
- If something breaks, use Runtime → Restart session and run all.

Click Download .ipynb instead and open the file in Jupyter, VS Code, or Cursor.
